Experienced Pilates & GYROTONIC® Instructor
About you:
Passionate about movement and continued education
Comfortable working with clients across a range of experience in Pilates and/or GYROTONIC®, able to adapt to client needs and preferences; enjoy working with clients in private and semi-private settings
Minimum three years experience practicing as a certified instructor in your modality, certified across all apparatus
Able to offer at least 12 hours per week
Professional, warm and effective communication skills
Willingness to adopt and follow our studio policies and standards
Able to demonstrate anatomical knowledge, able to safely navigate all machines and equipment
Evening and weekend availability not required to apply, but a plus! Looking for instructors that are available to start as soon as possible.

About us:
A peaceful place for every body to focus on movement, connection and breath. An inclusive space for both teachers and students devoted to continuous learning and growth. Pearl Pilates Studio offers two distinct, yet complementary, systems of exercise – Pilates & GYROTONIC®.
Our studio model prioritizes private and semi-private (2-3 clients) sessions, but our instructors are empowered to put together and offer group mat classes and workshops.
Pearl Pilates is also a teacher training studio, meaning there are opportunities to work with apprentices and participate in educational sessions as desired.
Our flagship studio in Portland’s Pearl District opened its doors in 2008 and is our largest space. Our Lake Oswego studio opened in 2020, and is a smaller, intimate studio, and our Bend studio is the newest addition having opened in June 2023! We’re thrilled that all three of our studios are continuing to grow - both in terms of interested clients in need of instructors, and modalities offered.
Our instructors are independent contractors, and we empower our instructors to make their own schedules and bring in their own clients (within studio constraints and availability)
Competitive rates with rent paid to the studio by independent contractor - studio has minimum pricing for clients, instructor and studio to agree upon their pricing
