Danie Way

I found Pilates in my young teens while I was studying to pursue a career as a professional dancer. I discovered that the practice complimented my training, especially in the areas of injury prevention as well as mind/body connection. Now as I am further along in my professional dance career my findings have only grown and Pilates has become crucial to keeping my body healthy and my mind happy.  I’ve spent the last couple years teaching both Pilates and dance in San Francisco, California, where I fell even deeper in love with the practice of Pilates.

I find it to be a privilege to share this practice with other people and be able to guide people through a portion of their own personal research and discovery of their mind and body. I believe that if you have a body you can do Pilates, and I strive to meet every single person where they are at, in the present moment. Movement is medicine, and being able to support someone in living a more joyful and nourishing life is incredibly inspiring and fulfilling.

When I’m not teaching Pilates I love dancing, spending time with my two kitties, and trying different coffee shops and bakeries.
